This company is American owned and operated.   Our design and manufacturing location is inside China.   Granted, a China based operation is not very popular with consumers but we have to face facts that the world's manufacturing base has been shifted to the East and we had to come here to get the product built at a price the world will want to pay.

The hard truth is that most of the fundamental items that we use for product development in the West are made here in China.  Anyone who is claiming that "made in America" goods are purely US products, is in most cases just not being honest.  The Chinese are world leaders in the mining of raw materials; they have a vast work force who work for less and they have their national fiscal house in order.   Instead of doling out money for entitlements, they are spending to build infrastructure and education.   The American worker is still better educated, but we are becoming fat and lazy workers; unwilling to do dirty work.  So, we are giving up a piece of our future to others who are making greater sacrifices and working harder for less.

However, having said that, the China way of thinking is not very foreword.  They do not look ahead and innovate as well as we do in the West.   They are not taught to be critical thinkers.  They are not inspired by role models to be independent.  So as Westerns we have a distinct advantage in that we have a natural tendency to be different.   And it is this drive to be different that inspires us to develop new ideas and follow new directions.

Concerning the LED lighting business, another factor you may not be aware of is that leading manufacturers of LEDs like Philips and Cree are having their dies and packages made in Asia as well.   Philips has their fabrication facility in Singapore and I believe Cree is using LED dies from Taiwan.   Any way you slice and dice the topic; production, supply, and the supporting products for the LED lighting industry are made here in Asia.   How could we be more profitable further from the source? - the true answer is that we can not.

For this company to provide you the very best equipment in LED lighting and produce at a competitive cost, we must bring western principles here to Asia and take advantage of logistic and a lower cost of manufacturing.
