New Product:

We have another new product arriving soon.  This is another large step forward towards total integration and control of large scale LED lighting systems.

This is our Titan Thermal and Control module.   This unit is a bolt-on accessory to the Lamina Titan LED series of Light Engine.  And as the name implies, this module provides thermal monitoring and electronic feedback control for the Lamina Titan series of LED.

• Microprocessor driven
• Two digital temperature sensors
• Fan control processor with predictive fan failure alert
• One wire feedback
• Optional off-board auxiliary pads for external sensor input

Cooling Fan Driver is located in this module.  Fan speeds are ramped up and down to extend fan life and increase reliability.  Fan control is autonomous and programmable for upper and lower thresholds and hysteresis between those thresholds.  This programmability allows you target a working temperature that meets your goals in balancing fan/cooling maintenance with total LED lifetime reliability.  In other words, you may work the cooling system in coordination with your target LED junction temperatures.

One Wire Feedback can be set to PWM an output back to the driver.   This feedback can be creatively turned off incrementally if LED temperatures exceeds a programmed threshold.   Or, with a change in programming and an additional light or motion sensor and let the software control the back-feed again to adjust the light levels up and down.  In this case, our controller product becomes the actual electronic light controller.

This unit has been designed to integrate tightly to our full scale LED lighting systems but nothing prevents this unit from being generically adapted to other lighting systems.
